Antoine Arnault and foodie financier Butler compete to buy art deco brasserie Le Basilic
Placed in compulsory liquidation, the Paris brasserie, complete with its original 1930s décor, is attracting a lot of interest. Antoine Arnault and his associates are going head-to-head with Walter Butler, already a shareholder in L'Ambroisie, Pierre Hermé and the Moma Group, in the race to acquire it.
