Pinault family splashes out in hope of offsetting losses
With the slump in Kering's performance threatening to eat into dividends, the Pinault family - its principal shareholder - is investing heavily to diversify its family office. Its other traditional sources of revenue, such as wine, tourism and art, are also becoming less bankable.
